Lonnie Hayes joined Keep Active Health & Wellness in August 2021 as a Personal Trainer, Exercise
Physiologist and Nutritionist. His experience and knowledge have empowered him to help people
improve their nutrition, muscular/joint pain, metabolic diseases like obesity, and cardiovascular
diseases. Guiding people in strengthen their mind and bodies is one of Lonnie’s passions.
Lonnie has been involved in the sports, health, and fitness world since he was young. He played in
minor League at the age of 13 while also competing on his school’s track team around the same time.
Once he graduated high school, he went to earn his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from George
Mason University and has competed in USA boxing events. While working as a personal trainer for over
10 years and helping hundreds of people. He is a ACSM certified exercise physiologist, an ENW certified
nutritionist, and a IFTA Personal Trainer & Class Instructor.
When not at work, he is training to compete professionally in Boxing and is continuing his educational
pursuit towards his Doctorates in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth Universi
