Despite what various fad diets may claim, losing weight isn't always easy. Although we all know that creating a calorie deficit will take you a long way, there are many reasons why your weight loss efforts may be thrown off track. It can be hard to commit to a permanent lifestyle change. Additionally, you may feel frustrated by a perceived lack of progress.

At Keep Active Health and Wellness, we use an Active 3D Fit Scanner to make weight loss easier for our clients. During a 15-minute appointment, our clients' bodies are analyzed by the scanner. We then use the scanner's analysis to provide clients with more information on their body measurements and posture. From the motivation you'll gain by seeing your progress to improving the way you work out, here are the ways the scanner can help you lose weight.

Tracking your progress

Sometimes, seeing the figures change on your scale isn't enough. And in many cases, our patients find that the scales don't tip often enough for them to feel motivated.

The Active 3D Fit Scanner offers you a new way to track your progress. By taking 3D scans of your body composition regularly, you'll see how much your body shape adjusts as your weight loss continues. If you're building muscle alongside losing weight, this is a good way for you to see changes even when you don't appear to be losing many pounds. Once you see how your body is changing, you'll feel motivated to continue with your weight loss journey.

Analyze your posture

Another of the Active 3d Fit Scanner's roles is that it analyzes your posture. Over time, poor posture can contribute to injuries that make exercising difficult. For example, if you regularly hold yourself in a way that causes lower back pain, you may not feel too enthusiastic about going to the gym.

Additionally, if your poor posture carries through to the way you exercise, you're more likely to injure yourself. In our experience as orthopedic specialists, injuries can have a significant impact on each individual's ability to engage with their usual fitness routine. If this impedes your ability to engage with cardiovascular exercise, you may struggle to lose weight.

We'll take an analysis of your posture and offer you advice on how to change it. As a result, you'll reduce your risk of a musculoskeletal injury that could impede your weight loss plans.

A weight-loss tool that's convenient

The term 3D scanner may leave you feeling as though there's a lot of work involved. However, all you need to do is stand on our scanner for 40 seconds to get an accurate picture of how your body is progressing. Each appointment lasts around 15 minutes, so you can easily come to see us on your lunch
